True Blood, Season 2, Episode 1

I have been waiting anxiously for the show to start back up, and thinking of creative ways to watch it because I do not have HBO. I don't even know how to work the TV we do have. Last season I had to search around the interwebs to find the episode each week and sometimes even enlist my super sneaky Ashley to steel them for me.

I was all jazzed because Becca recorded the first episode for me onto VHS. I know, right. We have a VHS player. We are rockin' it likes its 1996! Anywhooo....I settle in to watch the episode after working like ten million hours, and I am not sure...but I think it kinda sucked:(

First, something happened to Anna Paquin's face, right? She is not as adorable as last season and kinda looked like she got punched in the eye. Also, the fact that they are together in real life is damaging the on screen chemistry in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I will do everything in my power to watch the entire season but I was not very pleased.
